Located in Repentigny, a suburb of Montreal, Vigilance Santé has been developing databases and drug analysis software for nearly 30 years to provide front-line healthcare professionals with tools. As part of our team of approximately 70 employees, you will participate in stimulating challenges in a dynamic work environment. Reporting to the Product director or team manager, the pharmacist, clinical and functional analyst will collaborate with their department team to develop and maintain pharmaceutical data for products. They will contribute to improving Vigilance Santé’s tools to ensure they accurately reflect practice realities and meet the needs of healthcare professionals.

* Please note that this position is temporary for a minimum duration of 12 months.

Responsibilities:
Clinical Analyst:
  • Ensure the updating of clinical content for our products.
    • Conduct the necessary clinical research and analysis for content development.
    • Establish work requirements, estimate time needed, and organize the project plan in collaboration with team members.
    • Transform collected data and information into understandable and simplified content for the target audience.
    • Adhere to standards, internal norms, policies, and procedures to ensure clinical content compliance.
  • Participate in decision-making regarding controversial topics.
  • Engage in user testing during the development of certain programs and during version deployment.
  • Address questions from healthcare professionals by providing well-supported responses to deliver quality service.
  • Propose improvements to procedures and work methods to enhance team operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about new trends in the healthcare field.
  • Suggest the addition of relevant content based on the evolution of pharmacy practice.
Functional Analyst:
  • Participate in identifying end-user needs and analyzing functionalities.
  • Communicate effectively with development teams to ensure functional needs are accurately translated into technical requirements.
  • Assist in project planning by helping define milestones and delivery criteria.
  • Contribute to identifying necessary clinical content for certain functionalities within products and communicate this information within the department when relevant. Analyze the effectiveness of implemented solutions and propose improvements to optimize tool usage.
Development Team:
  • Attend regular meetings scheduled by the agile team. These meetings are crucial for maintaining communication and transparency within the team.
  • Take responsibility for the development team's objectives and strive to achieve the results set for each sprint.
  • Be prepared to adapt to changes in priorities, evolving project requirements, and new information that emerges during development.
  • Communicate proactively, effectively, and transparently with other team members, including regularly updating task statuses, flagging obstacles, and seeking help when needed.
  • Participate in sprint retrospectives to identify strengths and areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize the development process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in community pharmacy or healthcare settings.
  • Registered member in good standing with the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec.
  • Proficiency in French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in English, written, and functional in spoken.
  • Strong interest and ease with computer technology.
